PURPOSE OF UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

            The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

 

ACTIVITIES:

    Bargain Boutique -- used clothing store in the church basement, open on Thursdays 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    Bazaar -- 2nd Saturday in November

    Spring Salad Luncheon -- date depends on Easter

   

MISSION PROJECTS:

    Pledge to Missions

    Circle J Camp

    Covenant missionary

    Camp scholarships for children and youth

    Local mission projects vary each year

    Meals for families following or preceding funerals
